Aish`s Last Legion Trailer Gets 1 Million Hits
Beverly Hills, November 21, 2006 -- Hollywood's leading entertainment portal Hollywood.tv received over one million views after it exclusively showcased the trailer for The Last Legion today.Top Hollywood studio heads as well as top industry pundits are all raving about Aishwarya's performance in The Last Legion and the movie is creating some serious buzz online, and in Hollywood.Sheeraz Hasan, founder of Hollywood.tv reports that 60% of the views online came from the US and 40% from all other countries around the world."People were so blown away with Aishwarya Rai after watching the trailer and can't wait to see the movie early next year," said Hasan.In 'The Last Legion' Ash plays a warrior princess. She will be seen horse riding and sword fighting in the movie. Hollywood analysts are saying this is the first time American audiences will see a Bollywood star doing similar stunts to those that Angelina Jolie performed in Tomb Raider.The film is set in 470 A.D. when the Roman Empire was crumbling and the last Roman emperor, the 12-year-old Romulus Augustus, escaped the rebels and set forth on a perilous trek to Britain with a small band of companions to track down his last legion.Apart from Aishwarya and Sir Ben Kingsley, the film stars Colin Firth, Thomas Sangster, Peter Mullan, John Hannah and James Cosmo. The movie was shot in Tunisia and Slovakia and is being distributed by MGM. The film hits theaters in the US early 2007
